Frequently asked questions

Do the from-birth and from-return methods give the same result?

No. From birth counts working days from the birth or adoption date; from return starts at the actual return-to-work date.

Can I exclude holidays, sick leave or vacations?

Yes. Enter single holidays and absence ranges in YYYY-MM-DD to YYYY-MM-DD format to subtract them from the counted period.

Is the result binding on the employer?

No. It is an indicative estimate. Accumulation into full days depends on the applicable agreement, company policy or legal criterion.

How are multiple births or adoptions handled?

When the multiple option is enabled, the hours are multiplied by the number of children entered.
