How do we handle weekends and public holidays?
Saturdays and Sundays are excluded automatically together with the national holidays of the selected country. If you keep the standard workweek enabled, we apply the usual combination for that country without extra configuration.
Can I change which days count as working days?
Yes. Uncheck “Use standard workweek” and pick the exact days you consider working days. The business-day total updates instantly according to your custom schedule.
How do I add regional or local holidays?
You can type several dates separated by commas or line breaks, or use the date picker with the “Add holiday” button. Every added holiday appears in the list so you can spot duplicates before calculating.
What if I enter the dates in reverse order?
The calculator swaps the range so the start date comes first. A “Range swapped” badge lets you know we corrected the dates before running the calculation.
Is this valid for legal or HR deadlines?
